Casey Wagner, MSW, LICSW

Casey Wagner is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, licensed in state of Minnesota. Casey and his wife, Lily, are owners of EastWest Counseling and Consulting PLLC.

Education:

·       Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2015

·       Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology Degree

·       Practical Nursing Diploma

Trainings and Certifications:

·       Graduate of the General BTTI and the Pediatric BTTI intensive training courses hosted by the IOCD Foundation

·       Graduate of Tourette Syndrome Behavior Therapy Institute (TS-BTI) course through the Tourette Association of America

·       Certificate of Completion of the Professional Training Institute Cognitive Behavioral Therapy -based training in the Treatment of Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors

Clinical Interest: Casey provides services for anxiety disorders, grief and loss, men’s issues, international adjustment, returning missionary adjustments, and managing occupational stress. He enjoys providing spiritual care in addition to traditional therapy for those interested.

Casey has a special interest in working with people with OCD and related challenges. He is honored to walk alongside children, parents, and others through their challenges with OCD. Casey also works with individuals with scrupulosity. This is sometimes seen in individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder where the focus of symptoms has religious and spiritual themes.

Philosophy: Casey believes in providing compassionate service. Life can be very difficult. We all have challenges. Casey’s desire is to provide quality care to all his clients with dignity and respect.

About Casey: Casey is from Minnesota and grew up in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Casey enjoys reading, the outdoors, mountain biking on the Cuyuna Trails, snowboarding, and simply spending time together with his family. He is currently in the process of learning the Indonesian Language.

Lily Wagner, MSW, LICSW

·       Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University in Lincoln (UK) through KDU College in Penang, Malaysia

Clinical interest: Lily works on issues affecting women. Lily provides therapy for depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and adjustment related issues. Lily has special interest in working with infertility, returning missionaries, cross cultural adjustments, international adoption related issues, and working through the aging process. In addition to traditional therapy methods, Lily provides Christian Faith Based Counseling to anyone interested in integrating their faith into therapy.

Philosophy: Lily has a genuine interest in knowing people’s stories and working with them through the deep issues of the heart. In therapy, Lily believes in creating a safe space of acceptance and respect, believing we are all created in God’s image. Lily believes that building a genuine connection is what promotes the ability to work through what really matters to people.

About Lily: Lily was born and raised in the tropics of South East Asia. Lily speaks English, Indonesian, Malay, and Javanese. She lives in Brainerd, MN with her husband and their son. She loves the community in the Brainerd Lakes Area. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, riding bike, and going for walks with her family.
